Haddad holds a PhD in historical theology from the University of Durham, England and is the president of Christians for Biblical Equality (CBE) International. She is an award-winning author and has written more than one hundred academic and popular articles and blogs. Her most recent book, Is Gender Equality a Biblical Ideal? (CBE, 2015) was written with Sean Callaghan. Mimi was an editor and a contributing author of Global Voices on Biblical Equality: Women and Men Serving Together in the Church (Wipf & Stock, 2008) and contributed to Coming Together in the 21st Century: The Bible’s Message in an Age of Diversity (Judson, 2009), edited by C.P. DeYoung. In addition to teaching at colleges and seminaries around the world, Mimi currently serves as a gender consultant for World Vision International and Beyond Borders.
