Melle is professor of church history at the Missional Training Center in Phoenix, AZ. His areas of teaching and research include Indigenous Christianity, colonialism, and the history of global Christian contextualization. Melle is also cofounder of Daily Breadth, an imaginative meditation app for mindful Christians. Melle, his wife Brielle, and their two daughters, Lona and Peri, reside in Hamilton, Ontario.
