Thiselton is Emeritus Professor of Christian Theology in the University of Nottingham, and Emeritus Professor of Christian Theology in University College, Chester. He is also Emeritus Canon Theologian of Leicester and of Southwell and Nottingham. He holds four doctorates (PhD, DTheol, and DD), is a past president of the Society for the Study of Theology, and is a Fellow of the British Academy.
